Technical Assistance for Turkiye in Horizon Europe

Integration of Turkish Research Area (TARAL) into European Research Area (ERA) by increased participation in Framework Programmes is a critical pillar supporting innovation and technology development in Türkiye. Further to Türkiye’s previous participation in EU programmes, there is still need to increase awareness, explore funding mechanisms and increase project applications in EU programmes among potential beneficiaries. Within the scope of the project, Türkiye’s performance in H2020 will be analysed through current situation assessment and roadmaps will be developed to increase participation in Horizon Europe. According to results of assessment and roadmaps, capacity development trainings will be provided for the target groups, which will play an active role for the improvement of the R&D sector and ecosystem in Türkiye. Also, several knowledge diffusion and networking activities will be organized to increase awareness on Horizon Europe.
