Alchemist guides technical founders on the journey from possibility to traction, offering expert coaching, a global network, and a direct bridge into Silicon Valley’s venture ecosystem. Join a community built for founders who feel called to build something extraordinary. Alchemist exists for founders who sense a deeper pull—the founders driven not just by opportunity, but by conviction. We transform technical builders into CEOs ready to scale by providing a six-month journey of intensive coaching, investor access, and commercialization support. Our work is rooted in a simple belief: when the right founder follows the right calling, world-shaping companies emerge. We accelerate those founders—not by dictating their path, but by equipping them to walk it with clarity, discipline, and courage. A global innovation network, rooted in Silicon Valley. We connect the world’s most driven technical founders to Silicon Valley’s capital, expertise, and momentum—so they can build companies worthy of their ambition, no matter where they begin. What type of company qualifies for Alchemist? Alchemist is a B2B enterprise accelerator. We look for companies that sell to other businesses, not to consumers. We also look for companies that are building deep tech, which means they have a significant technological advantage or innovation. We are industry agnostic, but we do not accept companies that are primarily focused on consumer products or services. Do you accept solo founders? Yes, we do accept solo founders. However, we strongly recommend having a co-founder, as it significantly increases your chances of success and is often preferred by investors. Programs Impact at a glance 70+ Acquisitions 5B+ Raised by alumni 7K+ Mentors & investors across the Alchemist network 750+ Startups Accelerated The program Exclusive Community: Join a curated cohort of technical founders who challenge, elevate, and inspire one another. Peer circles, office hours, and alumni connections create the momentum every founder needs to stay true to their mission. Outcome-Driven Workshops: Traction-focused workshops grounded in practical action: customer discovery, enterprise sales, go-to-market strategy, and fundraising readiness—each one designed to move you closer to the company you’re meant to build. Expert Mentor Access: Work directly with seasoned operators, investors, and domain experts who offer candid, actionable guidance across product, growth, and strategy—helping you recognize the signals that point to your next move. 1:1 Coaching: Every founder is paired with a coach who brings real founder experience and $100M+ exits—becoming a true partner in accountability, clarity, and decision-making. They help you navigate pivotal choices, sharpen your instincts, and stay aligned with the company only you can build. Fundraising Support: A narrative-driven approach to fundraising: story development, deck refinement, targeted VC introductions, and the opportunity to present at Alchemist’s Demo Day. Founders emerge with connections, conviction, refinement, and direction. How do you evaluate applications to Alchemist? We evaluate applications based on several key factors: Team: We look for strong, coachable founders with relevant experience and a clear vision. Market: We assess the size and growth potential of the target market, focusing on B2B enterprise opportunities. Technology: We seek deep tech innovations that offer a significant competitive advantage. Traction: While not strictly required, any early traction (e.g., customer pilots, letters of intent, initial revenue) is a strong positive signal. Fit: We look for founders who align with Alchemist’s mission and values, and who are eager to leverage our network and resources. How does the application process work? The application process typically involves an initial online application, followed by a series of interviews with the Alchemist team and mentors. Successful applicants are then invited to join the next cohort. When is the application due? Application deadlines are announced on our website and social media channels for each upcoming cohort. We encourage early applications. What does it cost to join? Alchemist typically takes a small equity stake in the companies it accelerates in exchange for the program, coaching, network, and investment. Specific terms are discussed with accepted founders.
