Styrelsen skaber fundamentet for en videreudvikling af det høje kvalitetsniveau i dansk forskning og på de videregående uddannelser samt arbejder for et godt internationalt samspil på både forsknings- og uddannelsesområdet.

Only applicants from the Nordic countries – Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Baltic countries – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania – and the autonomous regions of Åland, Southern Schleswig, the Faroe Islands and Greenland In order to receive a Nordplus Higher Education grant all activities must take place in one or more of the eight participating countries or in the autonomous regions listed above Intensive courses lasting between one week (five working days) and one month Courses taking place during term time or in the summer by way of short courses, symposiums, master classes or workshops Intensive courses must include students and academic staff from at least three different countries Courses that yield ECTS points and is recognised as part of the students’ degree (The number of ECTS points should be stated in the application) The same intensive course, which previously was granted Nordplus funding (for three consecutive years), but annual applications must be submitted See "Handbook" in necessary documents for further information
