Styrelsen skaber fundamentet for en videreudvikling af det høje kvalitetsniveau i dansk forskning og på de videregående uddannelser samt arbejder for et godt internationalt samspil på både forsknings- og uddannelsesområdet.

Only applicants from the Nordic countries – Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Baltic countries – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania – and the autonomous regions of Åland, Southern Schleswig, the Faroe Islands and Greenland In order to receive a Nordplus Higher Education grant all activities must take place in one or more of the eight participating countries or in the autonomous regions listed above Full-time studies or work placements lasting under 1 month in another Nordplus country. The minimum duration of express mobility is one week (5 working days) Degree students of any nationality studying for a first or second cycle degree at a Higher Education Institute in the participating countries As a contribution towards the additional costs of studying abroad Studies/work experience placements abroad that are fully recognised as a part of the degree at the student’s home institution (ECTS shall be used) To broaden the possibilities for students to study abroad for shorter periods in cases where longer periods are not possible So that the Nordplus student does not pay any fees to the host institution (exception: any fees to student organisations, application fees, tuition fees for third-country students, any course fees) Only if the student lives at his/her place of study; commuting between place of study and ordinary place of residence is not permitted A learning/training agreement shall be signed before the exchange (Learning Agreement).
