Styrelsen skaber fundamentet for en videreudvikling af det høje kvalitetsniveau i dansk forskning og på de videregående uddannelser samt arbejder for et godt internationalt samspil på både forsknings- og uddannelsesområdet.

Only applicants from the Nordic countries – Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Baltic countries – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania – and the autonomous regions of Åland, Southern Schleswig, the Faroe Islands and Greenland In order to receive a Nordplus Junior grant all activities must take place in one or more of the eight participating countries or in the autonomous regions listed above Exchanges between teachers and pedagogical staff Teachers and other pedagogical staff at preschools, primary and secondary schools, both theoretical and vocational programmes, as well as vocational schools/apprenticeships Organisations and institutions that work with or have strong interests in compulsory education in the Nordic and Baltic countries Different kinds of exchanges, e.g. job-swapping, job-shadowing, study visits, or teacher exchanges where teachers take part in teaching in partner countries Exchange taking place between one or more schools Exchanges from one week (five working days and two travel days) up to one year See "Handbook" in necessary documents for further information
