With Visiting Scholarships of a duration of 3-6 months for PhD students, faculty members, and scientists employed by a Danish University or a Danish public research institution, at the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and the Banatao Institute within the University of California Visits within the period from 1st March 2019 to 31st December 2020 By covering the expenses of visiting researchers at the University of California. These expenses cover research facilities, bench fees, visa cost, access to labs, contributions to workshops, meetings, conferences, etc. A Visiting Scholar has the possibility of receiving a prepaid travel grant of DKK 15,000 as well. The travel grant can be used to help cover expenses for travel from Denmark to the CITRIS research facility and for accommodation and daily expenses for food and local transport in connection with the visit at CITRIS Applications within any field related to CITRIS, but there is a special focus on the following fields: a: Telehealth and digital/precision health b: Drones and robots c: Smart and renewable energy d: Entrepreneurship and commercialization For further information on criteria, read the 'Application Call' in documents
