Styrelsen skaber fundamentet for en videreudvikling af det høje kvalitetsniveau i dansk forskning og på de videregående uddannelser samt arbejder for et godt internationalt samspil på både forsknings- og uddannelsesområdet.

Only applicants from the Nordic countries – Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Baltic countries – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania – and the autonomous regions of Åland, Southern Schleswig, the Faroe Islands and Greenland In order to receive a Nordplus Junior grant all activities must take place in one or more of the eight participating countries or in the autonomous regions listed above Project activities based on an agreement between a minimum of three institutions or organisations from three different participating countries Schools forming project collaborations around a specific theme that is consistent with the objectives of Nordplus and with the development needs of the participating organisations Project partnerships that are longterm collaborations aimed at giving schools the opportunity to develop pedagogical and didactical methods Examples of fields for project partnerships: – Quality assurance – Dissemination of project results – Development and improvement of pedagogical and/or didactical teaching methods – Curriculum development Project partnerships with a grant for a maximum of three years See "Handbook" in necessary documents for further information
