Fondens formål
Kræftens Bekæmpelse er Danmarks største sygdomsbekæmpende forening. Vi arbejder for, at: - færre skal have kræft, flere skal overleve kræft samt alle skal have et bedre liv med og efter kræft. Vi er en privat forening, som drives af indsamlede midler fra befolkningen: 97 pct. af vores indtægter kommer fra befolkningen, 3 pct. kommer fra det offentlige. Pengene går til vores tre hovedformål: Forskning, forebyggelse og støtte af patienter og pårørende.

Young independent researchers to carry out outstanding and ambitious projects in all aspects of cancer research Younger researchers who, within the past eight years, have earned a PhD, and have demonstrated the ability of high-level research and international relevance There can be made an exemption of the requirement of a maximum of 8 years of PhD in the case of periods of leaves such as maternity, parental, sick or care leave, and military service Researchers who have already demonstrated their potential by getting support for their salary Applicants must meet the requirements indicated in the Danish Cancer Society's ethical guidelines

Your own salary; however, you can apply for 50% exemption from ordinary clinical work. It is required that the managing institution gives priority to the area with the necessary facilities and resources/co-funding Overhead
