KEN Foundation a non-profit charitable foundation, which over the years has supported many charitable projects both at home and abroad, but especially in the local community. Examples of recipients of general aid include Danish Red Cross, DanChurchAid, WWF, Save the Children, Committee on animal testing, Care Denmark and the Danish Cancer Society. Examples of individual projects: national collection in support of Africa and Asia in 2004, Svendborg Ass. Cemetery, Democratic Muslims in Denmark, Borneo Child Aid, Tall Ship Aalborg Fund and Urgent Church, Tanzania. There have been many local projects. Here are a few examples: Support for the preservation of medical control, urban renewal in Brobyværk, the Dragon kindergarten in Nr. Broby, Bofællesskabet Sophia farm in Ølsted, Pre-schools in Brobyværk and Allested, Brobyværk Tennis Club, Nr. Broby Badminton, X-house in V. Hæsinge, Brobyværk Hall, Broby Local History Society, School of Music, Sdr. Broby church altarpiece, Brobyværk Stigruppe, Åløkke park’s Friends and many more. Everyone is welcome to apply for a grant.
